Is it just me or is this context kinda some horseshit? To me ‘snitches get stitches’ means ‘don’t rat out the people you were doing the thing with because that makes you a traitor’. This comes off as ‘don’t speak up when you’ve been abused’. I get it’s a joke I’m just saying it kinda rubbed me the wrong way and could be framed better and still be funny.

I’m kinda in the same boat. I think Ira is a really talented creator and producer but he’s got that tried to hard theatre kid vibe at times. Like, love him and don’t doubt his sincerity in the slightest but yeah, bit navel gazey.

I think Die Hard 1 & 2 both qualify for Christmas films but the first one is obviously superior for sure.

People who last 17 years do, in fact, leave their partners if the trust is irrevocably broken and the love is lost entirely. It seems more likely you took my statement of leave, and applied a meme to it and then hopped up on a fairly high horse. My advice is based on a couple decades of adult relationships and life. From reading the post, this is not a ‘oh we can work on it and figure this out together’ situation. This reads very much like a ‘this person may actually be dangerous in the long run’.
