Well yes. Those statistics are painting a picture of black people being much more likely to be murderers than white people because of their skin colour. It makes it seem like the skin colour is the issue. Since skin colour is inherited that would mean tendencies to murder people are also inherited. Which would form a basis on which racist actions are justified. All of this just because the graph oversimplifies. The actual factors that cause people to commit homicide are complex and include amongst others income, gender, upbringing, view of women and mental health issues. Those correlate with skin colour but require very different actions to solve. So pushing back against those oversimplified statistics and removing them is good since the takeaway’s from it are wrong.

With both parties working against the most of the american people and most of the media being in the pocket of some rich guy I don’t know how this is going to change other than rewriting the constitution to change how the american political system works. And being defeated in a war seems to be one of the only moments in time where this can happen. And as a non american I’d prefer if they duked it out amongst themselves. Pulling others into it seems unfair and the US might actually win. I’d much prefer if an alternative to war though since its one of the worst things that can happen to a person. I don’t know how it would look though. Please enlighten me me if you do.

As far as I understand it: There once was a layer of hardened clay that lay at the bottom of the sea. Over a long time coral reefs, mussels, fish bones, algea, sand and other detritus accumulated on top of it forming a layer of limestone. Then due to tectonic processes the region gets uplifted above sea level and dries up. The limestone layer hardens and becomes cracked due to tectonic movement (stuff like earthquakes). The softer clay layer doesn’t crack though. Then rain and rivers (over and underground) erode the split apart limestone chunks so the rigid blocks are reduced to conical hills until they disappear completely. The erosion sharply stops at the clay layer though, since unlike limestone, clay is largely waterproof and not as affected by the corrosive water. That’s why you have the last pieces of the limestone layer strewn about on a plain that is the clay layer. In the future there will only be a plain left here. The earth and mountains will shake so violently that the trees will come loose from the soil, the mountains will topple, and all restraints will break, causing Fenrir to break free from his bonds.

The great serpent Jörmungandr, a child of Loki, will breach land as the sea violently swells onto it. The ship Naglfar, made from the human nails of the dead, will be released from its mooring and set sail on the surging sea, steered by a jötunn named Hrym. At the same time, Fenrir, eyes and nostrils spraying flames, will charge forward with his mouth wide open, his upper jaw reaching to the heavens, and his lower jaw touching the earth. At Fenrir’s side, Jörmungandr will spray venom throughout the air and the sea.

During all of this, the sky will split into two. From the split, the sons of Muspell will ride forth. Surtr will ride first, surrounded by flames, his sword brighter than the sun. The sons of Muspell and their shining battle troop will advance to the field of Vígríðr, an expanse that reaches a hundred leagues in each direction, where Fenrir, Jörmungandr, Loki followed by Hel’s own, and Hrym accompanied by all frost jötnar join them. While this occurs, Heimdallr will stand and blow the Gjallarhorn with all his might. The gods will awaken at the sound, and meet them. Odin will ride to Mímisbrunnr in search of counsel from Mímir. Yggdrasil will shake, and everything, everywhere will fear.

The Æsir and the Einherjar will dress for war and head to the field. Odin, wearing a gold helmet and an intricate coat of mail, carrying his spear Gungnir will ride before them. Odin will advance against Fenrir, while Thor moves at his side, though Thor will be unable to assist Odin because he will engage Jörmungandr in combat. Freyr will fight fiercely with Surtr, but will fall because he lacks the sword he once gave to his messenger, Skírnir. The hound Garmr, the worst of monsters will break free from his bonds in front of Gnipahellir, and will fight the god Týr, resulting in both of their deaths.

Thor will kill Jörmungandr but be poisoned by the serpent, and will manage to walk only nine steps before falling to the earth dead. Fenrir will swallow Odin, though immediately afterwards his son Víðarr will kick his foot into Fenrir’s lower jaw, grip the upper jaw, and rip apart Fenrir’s mouth, killing the great wolf. Loki will fight Heimdallr and the two kill each other. Surtr will cover the earth in fire, causing the entire world to burn. source and continuation
