I disagree. I played it all the way through, yet I never managed to play any of the Fromsoft games more than maybe 10 minutes because I feel that they are too clunky.

I’ll take the original Lords of the Fallen over the new one or any of the Dark Souls games any day. People have different tastes.

Yes, but going for and receiving are entirely different things. As far as I’m aware, the only thing he is currently receiving is the 5 years (but not everything is settled yet). Seeing as how they gave the second in command over 20 years, I’m hopeful that they will actually dish out some real consequences. We’ll see.
