Thanks! I didn’t even think about running a local app, but this may be a fun find to experiment with!
That’s a great idea! Thanks! I’ve got unbound running locally on one instance of Pihole, and I’ve got it in a LXC for the other instance. Using the configs to pull from git would make that much easier to sync.
Thanks! I’ll take a look at those!
Huh. Good tip! I’ll have to test this out.
I have a “main” Pihole on a Raspberry Pi, and I set up another instance in a VM for secondary functions.

182·5 months agoIf you’re getting something for free, you aren’t the consumer, you are the product. Open Source projects (free as in speech) need some way to pay for the beer (not free). Enshittification is accelerating the conversion of services that have some form of free tier into more aggressively finding ways to monetize those users. Even services you pay for are selling your data, to make sure they can get maximum juice.

215·6 months agoWell, the dismantling of the NOAA, the lack of local regulations on construction and zoning, the lack of land management policies, the lack of education and preparedness all seem to disproportionately affect Republican voting communities. This is a failure of the blueprint.
Sure, go ahead and put words in my mouth. Ad hominem is always in fashion. Those kids would be alive if their parents and communities did their job as part of a society or civilization.
