This might actually be the opposite of evil: if you try to insert the USB cable the wrong way, you don’t need to rotate it, you can just try the next port. Seems more convenient to me.

If you are referring to libhybris, that’s only true for Android phones with SFOS backported, such as the Sony Xperias. The Jolla Phone will be pure Linux, with required Linux packages provided by Mediatek. Source: I’ve asked the Jolla folks at the Mobile World Congress booth.

It’s assembled in Finland though.

I use the Bypass Paywalls Clean extension in Firefox to access Bloomberg, among others. I had it installed before it got taken down, so be careful where you get it from nowadays.
