The USSR was not communism. Even if you protest and hold ground that it was communist, it does not represent communism and was objectively separate from anarchism. You argument is akin to saying that the USA is democracy.

Damionsipher@lemmy.worldto World News@lemmy.world•Tesla sales plunge 40% in Europe as Chinese EV rival BYD's tripleEnglish4·21 days agoThe stock market is a cult. Company valuations have detached from any sense of use-value reality - most of the stock markets’values is derived from how much money a stock might make and not what value a company provides to society. Valuations don’t even mirror how much revenue potential companies have, but make it up based on future revenue potential, which can be easily manipulated to simply create wealth. It’s been this way for a long time, but the extent of the situation has lost nearly any attachment to reality.

Here in the Western side of Canada in BC we have an area called the Okanagan that has a ton of excellent varietals (100s of wineries) . From ice wine (super sweet, appreteif) to dry reds and whites. Some very good wineries from Vancouver area and Vancouver Island as well.

Damionsipher@lemmy.worldto News@lemmy.world•US immigration budget now bigger than most of the world's militaries6·3 months agoTyranny has taken over - staying is a choice to live in fascism. Fascism does not die from within, it does a slow death from being excommunicated from the world or it dies a quick death as the world responds to it’s expansionist tendencies. It does not die because people stop voting for it.
Damionsipher@lemmy.worldto News@lemmy.world•US immigration budget now bigger than most of the world's militaries32·3 months agoThat anyone would want to be part of a regime that oppressive and call it freedom is insane, to put it lightly.
Using violent tactics is not synonymous with war mongering. Maybe a definition helps to differentiate the difference “A warmonger is someone strongly pro-war. Warmongers favor war above all other options.”
