  • True, but there isn’t much of a society left. Productive forces don’t really exist beyond artisanal and sustenance production, and neither does organized or capitalist modes of production. There isn’t anything to really organize, let alone lead.

They live in commune societies where the collective own the means of production, reject money, they attempt to elevate tribal groups through education, they’re anti-fascist and only maintain a tenuous relationship with the liberal NCR, and attempt to recruit through their outreach.

Society tetters between tribal and early feudal at best, and even then barely. What is a socialist to do in a “society” like that? Volunteer outreach is all that’s left, not like there’s much to do a “revolution” against.

  • I highly doubt that China would strike Japan directly, especially before securing Taiwan. Any Chinese offensive would instantly reignite the Korean War and draw Taiwan into the fray, while irrevocable destroying any goodwill China maintains with the Philippines, Vietnam, and India, among others.

The campaign would also be a bloodbath as a result of the PLA being forced to rely on supply lines stretched across the East China Sea, with Chinese troops being limited to any gains made during initial amphibious landings, which themselves are a costly endeavor. While the JGSDF pales in comparison to the PLA, the home turf advantage, ability to funnel Chinese forces into narrow fronts, and high probability of major cities turning into quagmires, would make the entire operation hellish for the PLA and Chinese morale.

Instead of a cry for open conflict, China’s comments are probably more of a warning to Japan to not interfere with a Taiwanese offensive, since Japanese bases, airfields, and ports are the lynchpin of any potential American involvement or defensive strategy.

  • Yeah… do you know what other things are spherical and hover? Helicopters, commercial drones, weather drones, weather balloons, and hobby drones….

Did the people who saw these drones take any videos or pictures? Because the only evidence that ever surfaced all turned out to be passenger airliners, hobby drones, and small Cessnas. It’s especially funny when the photos or videos show the craft blinking red and green navigation lights, and the thought that aliens or hostile craft would abide by FAA regulations is pretty funny.

I’d be happy to be proven wrong if you’d have other evidence.
