Yeah… you’re right, I really would love a forever home though. I feel I’ve moved too many times and countries and its exhausting, especially with pets.

I prefer big cities or pure countryside. In the US I mostly have friends through work. In Japan I find it difficult to make random friends outside of work too… less my age at work as well.
Agree with you that big Japanese cities are less physically isolating but people can be somewhat cold compared to the other two.

I agree with you. Also financially it’s getting worse in all three countries. US is certainly doing the best financially. I was shocked by how hard covid continues to hit China. Buildings being built in Chengdu in 2019 are just left empty downtown now. Japan has worsening yen and rising costs.
For the healthcare side, insurance in Japan has been around 30$ per month and every medical cost for children is free. In the US I was paying 6-700$ a month and still paying 20-35% per visit.

I love China and have devoted much of my life and career to China. Don’t come at me with stereotypical .ml presumptions.

Yeah its worked in the past for me but its getting more difficult I find. There’s something called 机场 but I couldn’t figure them out. You’re right it’s possible but frustrating.

Lol

What’s the 11/9 planes?

A ufo not an

I meant free as in not blocked like in China.
Yeah I like the coasts but I do worry about the gov and police…

I think you haven’t been to a real ethnostate and felt the difference. Racism in America is no where close to in East Asia sadly.

This is a really good approach. Thank you!
I will go through it with your take :)

Thanks for sharing your own experience! :)
That’s kind of my own feeling… Japan has some difficulties but its safer than the states…

That’s what I’m learning towards but I don’t love the bad pay, small houses, trump-like prime minister, and forever not fitting in… but those can be viewed as minor to US or China critiques.

Then I think you haven’t studied in other countries before. Having studied/conducted research in China, Japan, Malaysia, Taiwan, and Nepal… they all are pretty rough in comparison.

The reality that US universities are better than most I’ve worked and studied in. Chinese and Japanese ones are barely comparable.

Just responded to that… your comment isn’t adding anything
for me its 2200-0100, everyones fucked off to bed and i can goof around on the computer and with my cats

Luckily my field has a decent amount of jobs in all three countries with okay pay, better in the US though. You’re right about neighbors. The annoying parts of China don’t happen with neighbors, only randos on the street.
