I doubt that story. I’m a linux user at home but at work I admin windows and linux systems. I can see his logic because hes thinking how I would. But windows doesnt behave like that. On linux you can fill a drive and get issues booting but windows leaves space so that even when the user drive is full the system can still create temp files needed for operation. Whatever he did trying to get around the default behavior he misconfigured something

Pretty much everything. Seperate package repo shipping cpu modern optimized binaries, custom kernel, and a ton of gaming and preformance related patches applied ontop of various packages. As well as a gui installer.

When our energy department ran this calc Solar was far cheaper but the actual costs were nearly 10x using LPG because a grid needed storage and diversification to account for the different outputs. If the sun is low you cant run a country of batteries and still have it match LPG.

Dynamic IPs still have an ID associated. VPNs most can be subpoena for the true IP. Yes you can hide your IP but only a tiny fraction are doing that work and this law isnt going to affect them.

Governments already have an ID associated with an IP. There is no ISP that im aware of that lets you register anonymously.

Firefox. Google does AB testing so they roll out the anti adblocking changes ot some users. Its usually effective at blocking adblocker for a day or two. Sometimes i have to watch the Ad sometimes i have to sit and stare at a black screen for 15seconds.

I run both those and I see ads every time google breaks ublock which is monthly now. Grayjay is broken more than its not at this point and requires like 10+ tries with various ciphers.

I think the day of these ads becoming unblockable is coming soon.

This is a guess based on reading previous reports on the topic. Its probably majority(90%+) state actors. Individuals may get caught up in the sweep but there is no way they can match the scale of state sponsored botfarms.

Also the issue he had with Left4dead is present on every distro. Its an issue with the native linux version of the game being broken and its been unfixed by valve for years.
