I always like the idea in self improvement groups of “cultivating” things like motivation and a better outlook, etc. Because that’s a much better way to describe what you’re trying to do. There’s no switch, things don’t just start happening.

Delusional wishful thinking. There’s no going back, things will never be the same even after the big beautiful obituary.

As long as the spiders don’t break our agreement they can stay. They eat the bugs and pests, and they can live in the corners of my house. As soon as they come to the floor they’re dead.

If semen retention was actually true then you could just get a vasectomy and you’d never lose your semen again no matter how many loads you blew.
Imo the benefits are all psychological. That’s why some people report it changed their life while others say nothing happened.

2·8 days agoSure… but supporting something and actually doing something are two different things. What if we still wanted the government shutdown but democrats didn’t? Who do you think would get their way? Us or the politicians? You make it seem like we the people went to D.C. and shut it down ourselves.

2·8 days agoYou can always decide, that’s the point of the story, or so I thought. That even if something is forced upon you (like laundry or having to work or eat, etc) that you can still make a choice to do that thing. It helps give you a feeling of control, even if it might seem small and unimportant it could make a big difference. Maybe I’m just projecting lol

15·9 days agoBecause he CHOOSES to push the boulder. That’s the important distinction. If you wait until you HAVE to do laundry it’s not really a choice and it feels like the chores are now dictating your schedule instead of the other way around.
