        I wouldn’t take it even in those circumstances.

        1. I don’t use American products. Ever. For any reason. I started de-Americanizing my supply chain in the '90s.
        2. I don’t know which strain they grow in the USA predominantly, but it’s a singularly tasteless, texture-free one. When I lived in Canada, even before I started my de-Americanization, I bought rice from Thailand or India. Because they had actual flavour. Aroma. Texture.
