    These cars are mobile hi-def surveillance cameras. Incidentally they indefinitely track all the riders, their destinations and origins, and report it back to big data. Lime scooters are no better.

    According to a few posts on Bluesky this is being caused by the smoke canisters their firing into the crowd.

      I’m rooting for the protesters but that’s a pretty implausible excuse. Given that the police are publishing videos from Waymo, I’m not surprised they’re being set on fire. Fuck the police but also fuck everyone who is complicit
