It is peak capitalism, but not really the fault of the OP or anyone that shops on Amazon. Under capitalism there is no ethical consumption because by default the workers are being screwed over. Not only that, but capitalism incentivizes monopoly and that’s exactly what Amazon accomplished in the online retail market.
I know, I just really don’t give a shit or think that anything I do has anything to do with whether Amazon succeeds or fails, and my focus right now is more on the ivermectin brainworms and my mom’s healthcare than getting a pair of socks. Guess it’s a perspective thing.

You know, I’m pretty sure that Amazon has enouuh profit margins to pay their employees fair wages if they wanted too, even without your purchases
