As I’m sharing the third issue, I wanted to explain what this is and why I’m doing this. Reading theory, I’m realising that the main concepts of Marxism are extremely straightforward, intuitive, and anyone who spent more that 2 minutes in this society can understand exactly where they’re coming from. At the same time, they’re widely ignored by the general public and misrepresented to an unbelievable degree. Which is frustrating. With these comic strips I wanted to present contradictions of the capitalist system in the simplest terms possible, in a way that introduces Marxist concepts to anyone who never meaningfully engaged with them. I’m posting them here mainly to get some feedback before possibly sharing them in non-marxist communities. I’m trying to make them into a weekly column, which I hope you will enjoy. Hasta la victoria, siempre 🏳️⚧️
This is art. Keep going on!
This really great, I have nothing really to add except that this is a very important agitprop tactic that I feel we are underutilizing at our own peril. I hope to see more of your work and share them around wherever I can.
Thank you comrade!
I often wonder if we are in a second dark age because of the liberals that deny dialectical materialism is a science
I have a hard time telling your lowercase Ls and Es apart. Even knowing what site this is on I kept reading eemmygrad.me
