Also, they’re not synonyms either. Altho I guess if you purchased insurance for your literal safety net, like a trapeze net, then technically you would have safety net insurance and it WOULD be an adjective.

Don’t mock them, mock the education system they grew up in.
I’ll be honest, I could imagine myself making this mistake in a brain fart moment. Sometimes for completely confounded reasons I switch the meaning of entirely different words, then realize a second later that what I said doesn’t make sense.
I feel like they could come around, with a warm welcome and a receptive, curious mind.
I am guessing they have never dealt with insurance before.
