This week, GOP Senate candidate Ken Paxton privately admitted that Donald Trump’s midterm convention in Texas was a serious problem for the state’s Republican candidates. Asked about this, Trump unleashed a long, tortured monologue, and it was revealing. He kept returning to the number of viewers that he got at the convention, and kept repeating that he won Texas multiple times. I don’t trust polling.
I do hope that even the dumbest voters are seeing what happens when they elect people who refuse to govern. I doubt it, though.
They’re seeing it and feeling it but they can’t bring themselves to vote for “evil” democrats. I’ve met some of these morons and it’s amazing how well the propaganda works on them. I met one man in particular who was losing his business because of medical bills. I pointed out that maybe he should vote for Democrats so we could all get health care(this was pre ACA) and he actually said Democrats are evil and I can’t vote for them.
He was super Catholic, btw. Pope Leo needs to straighten these people out.
