If you’re working in the Linux console alone, you could also ssh into your Pi and, for instance, have your local machine on virtual console tty1 and the Pi on tty2, switching between them with ALT+Fx. Still only one monitor. 😜
Lol. Been there, done that. 😅 'twas a long time ago now, but was it not simply naming a file ssh or sshd and putting it in the root directory? But then you’d have to have created a non superuser user and set a password too? Ah… My memory fails me. Better luck doing:
