both are snoozing like pros. One is on his bed, and the other is on my bed.

Both pussycats got their nails trimmed Friday so they’re no longer sticking to the bedsheets which is good. One of them just threw up on my laptop (luckily it was closed so just the lid) but is off back to the food bowl so I guess that means she’s fine.

Old man dog is at home while we’re in a trip to visit family.

He’s getting 4 check ins a day from some cool ladies in our town who run a dog sitting business.

I imagine he’s enjoying the peace and quiet.

Tired, hungry, and clingy.

She ran off in a panic on Monday afternoon when a 🤬 motorcyclist illegally came roaring down the walking trail and then deliberately skid his back tire. It took us until Friday night to find her, with her leash tangled around a bush. The vet gave us strict instructions to limit her food to avoid refeeding syndrome, so she’s not allowed to eat her full daily ration until Tuesday (which really sucks to have to implement 🙁).

At least she’s home and safe now, the rest will improve again with time.

A few days ago, our red heeler tore her CCL. The other one. Yes, that’s right, less than 2 months after paying $1600 for CCL surgery, she tore the other side and we get to do it all again. Sigh. At least the cats are in good shape.

He’s eaten an entire camel skin roll (which usually takes him several days) and is now sleeping off his poor decisions.

my kitten (8 weeks old or so? idk for sure) has been off the wall lately, shes finally feeling well with no more fleas and is eating well so shes got crazy energy!
