CoMaps is really solid but it needs to mimic the work flow of Google maps. Also, traffic based routing is essential for city driving. I would sacrifice a bit of privacy for the good of the community. I’m sure it could be done anonymously. I’d even be willing to pay for the service.
Yeah, CoMaps has been solid for me with a few exceptions. Tried to reroute me in the city once. It would’ve made a 15 minute drive take 30 minutes. The side effect of switching to CoMaps has been an increase in my knowledge of areas since I feel like I have to pay more attention. While that’s an indictment on CoMaps, I personally like the change.
