    A police statement said the alleged victim told officers he received head, face and neck injuries during the beating.

    Defining him as an ‘alleged victim’ shows whose side the police are on.

    Also, the ICE agents’ actions wouldn’t have been justified even if he were a fugitive.

      It’s journalism. They say ‘alleged’ until they won’t get sued. Then they can say ‘convicted X’ and the like
