    My coworker keeps talking about how his son, now a baby, can be gay but to just not bring his boyfriend home or kiss in his house. I can’t help but think about what a failure of a father and a human being he is, and I’m sorry that his son won’t have parents who love him unconditionally.

        Elder millennial here, we were raised with mainstream homophobia. I guarantee he doesn’t think he’s homophobic.

      I mean do people generally go and kiss their SO in their parents house?

      If lucky, the boy will rebel, and it will go one of two ways;

      • the dad is forced to reckon with his prejudice, and then realises his son matters more than them, and drops the prejudice
      • the dad drops his son

      Either-or it’s a win-win for the son
