I heard about it from places, but I would like context.

I know Jesus is brown due to being Middle Eastern, but I wouldn’t call him black.

    Jesus? He’s black. In that if Jesus walked the streets of America today, he would be be seen as and live as a black man, and be preaching to largely other poor black folks.

      I would think that would be true. His first appearance was in Judea where the Jews were oppressed and marginalized by the Romans. It would only make sense for his second appearance for him to be black as he would find one of the most oppressed and marginalized groups and become one of them and preach to them.
