He’s not a good person, but he’s respected by the far-right. And still manages a large audience of alt-righters. So, if he’s criticizing Israel, and Trump, and TPUSA… then… maybe that’s good? In the clip he’s openly discussing how Fox news (his former employer) is being deliberately manipulative with their wording… that’s… good?
I’d say, “broken clocks” but I don’t he’s “right” either. I think he has his own purposes that aren’t “good”, but some good may come of it. If that makes sense.
He sees the writing on the wall that young rightists are anti-Israel (for all the wrong reasons) and is positioning himself to be the next anti-establishment right-wing voice in a post Trump era. It’s pure cynical politics.
I look it as though Tucker is just the first rat off the ship trying reestablish himself as the “true republican”. He helped make this monster and now he’s doing this “the right have lost their way” bit after it all went tits up.
