    Yes but the point you’re missing is that the way you focus on it, it makes it seems like their “whiteness” is the reason they are evil, not their billionaire status. Like it would be ok if they weren’t white. Do you get where I’m going with this?

      Their whiteness is relevant to them using their power to prevent people from spreading a message that highlights the suffering of brown people

          Well, this is the entire story we’re commenting on. The billionaire NFL owners own these stadium, and are working together to prevent Macklemore from spreading his message.

            Yeah but to the rest of us its just sportsball and we have no reason to know it’s a very racist sport. Meanwhile we have billionaire owners of our own sportsball teams in all colors and we still think they’re nasty.

              While everybody today is free and there are no laws around race, so much damage was done from both slavery and segregation. And even after the civil rights movement, black people were still kept down through laws that were created to keep black people down and police officers actively going after those communities.

              The fact that your awful billionaires are a diverse group shows how much race has been an issue in America. And this story is an example of how it still is an issue.
