i’ve seen plenty of comrades on here and reddit use the term while being anti-imperialist, as long as they’re fighting western forces they are allies i feel
besides if “westoid” is concerning then comrades can just say it amongst each other right? like the movement needs masses, just keep the westerns from hearing what the world rightfully sees them as and there wouldn’t be a problem i think, maybe

You’re fine as far as I’m concerned. There’s a bit of tone policing and lesser evilism going on in this thread. I think it’s fine to get angry at western white complicity given the times, especially if you’re from the global south, and to express that anger. Truth is, a lot of “liberal left” ideology is based on white supremacy, the saviour complex etc, even if they dont say the quiet part out loud. Getting sick of it and going, “no, you’re the lesser people!” is understandable, IMHO.
