Mostly because I want to post a lot more of this, but I don’t want my niche interests to overshadow other kinds of music on the main music communities here on lemmy.today.
You can, and should, still post City Pop and game music to the main communities, but now you can also crosspost them here.

Why such restrictive rules on posting (10 rules!) Most Lemmy communities are pretty quiet. Do you really want to spend your time taking down City Pop songs because someone didn’t put the year?
If you think those rules are too restrictive, wait until you see your instance’s rules. You have to follow those regardless of which community you post in.
My rules are there to help people search for music that has already been posted. I generally ask someone to fix their post and wait a day or two if it’s something minor like that.
