Ugh, I can’t stand Piker. He has this whole curated vibe and cult-like yes men who shout down anyone raising any criticisms of him. It’s all pretty fucking ridiculous. That said, he’s generally doing a good job of standing up against bullshit and is a consistent ally of the left and in no way deserves the hatred he receives from the right. I think he was shitty to his dog and the way everyone tried to make anyone saying it was fucked up as “an op” just made me realize people should be careful about getting too invested in the guy. He might be an ally, but mostly he wants to be famous for being an ally.
