I am learning the business side of western philosophy for a college class and I can already tell I hate Immanuel Kant, John Stuart Mill, and basically every Greek philosopher.

Edit: To clarify things, I do not hate all of Western philosophy like Karl Marx just the more mainstream parts which are being taught in American academia.

This is a vent post and I was using hyperbole and being dramatic. I am sorry for the confusion.

    I mean business is amoral, but certainly can be practiced in moral (planning and providing production around people’s real needs with perhaps small surplus in case of unforeseen events, like climate disasters, fire, etc), *and immoral ways (extract wealth to the point I live lavishly and you end up in a death camp providing free labor due to homelessness). Odd that they think capitalism is moral, but only because I see from different perspectives than how I was conditioned. I suspect it has to do with income incentive, beyond wanting to pay for education, publishing/editors, plus enough to sustain a modest lifestyle.

    Try searching “net worth + author’s name,” and "author + background and education. (I suspect search engines will soon make this capability impossible, soon).
