I am learning the business side of western philosophy for a college class and I can already tell I hate Immanuel Kant, John Stuart Mill, and basically every Greek philosopher.
Edit: To clarify things, I do not hate all of Western philosophy like Karl Marx just the more mainstream parts which are being taught in American academia.
This is a vent post and I was using hyperbole and being dramatic. I am sorry for the confusion.

If you hate Western philosophers then you should hate Marx too since he was a Western European man who developed his theory based of the ideas of other Western European philosophers. And if you don’t think you should hate on Marx then what makes Marx different from other Western philosophers?
I was being dramatic, I do not hate all of Western Philosophy.
Marx is based on materialism while much of Western Philosophy is based on idealism that is what makes him different.
Ah ok, thanks for the clear response
He contributed to foundational theory development that was largely actualized by others, but the work of those others went on to make dramatic improvements to the lives of millions.
Most of what counts as western philosophy is bougie colonizer/empire philosophy. It is of course possible for people in the west to make good contributions to these things, but Marx and Engels are really the main examples among the white western cohort.
