From ~'50-'60 membership surged, but with only a linear compensation gain.

membership plateaued in '55 but compensation stayed linear until the mid '70’s

from 70-80, membership was fairly flat, (small decrease) but it didn’t affect compensation for another 5 years or so?

Membership and Compensation seem hardly linked.
