Wow, discourse around new products is ridiculous.
Was watching a video on the new foldy iphone. Gave up halfway because of how utterly meaningless it was to me. I think phones should be a textbook example of literal commodity fetishisation. “It’s just 3000 dollars guys!”. For a folding plastic screen with fancy cameras, that you’ll use to poison your brain with instagram reels (or ehatever the newest thing is, I only use lemmygrad and a freetube, and the mobile version of freetube I use doesn’t even work right now.). You cannot convince me thhat people naturally want this. People don’t need this. It’s pure ideological brainwashing.
It absolutely is. I have never in my life bought a phone for more than 400€ and inshallah i will never have to as long as the EU has not yet banned Chinese imports.
