    Francisco “Cisco” Aguilar, a Harry Reid protégé, runs the Secretary of State’s office.

    If a Republican secretary of state removed 315,000 registrations, then another 50,000 two months before a midterm, and the Democratic registration advantage collapsed with it, national media would call it a purge. Under Aguilar, the same work is described as routine maintenance.

    What could have happened in Nevada that would make a Democrat with strong ties to the national party want to purge other Democrat voters en mass?

    Sanders supporters took over the Nevada Democratic Party. It’s not going well.

      “They really did not want to do electoral politics,” she said. “They wanted to work outside of the current electoral system. As the state party chair, I can’t do that. I can’t work outside of the system itself. I represent the Democratic Party. I don’t represent the DSA.”

      Same story time and time again. Playing their game is the problem.
