And I thought people were bad about backing off the end of ramps with regular trailers.

This would be way easier - just back straight.

Most people struggle with trailers going forward, backing is a real challenge.

This you back up till you’re at the end of the ramp, extend the rails, and let the winch ease it out. Not rally that different from loading a boat on a trailer - they get heavier as the come out of the water so you need rollers or sliders.

Granted, backing up with a trailer is a bit of a mind fuck if you’re not used to it (holding the bottom of the wheel helps). I was more talking about people who back to far at super low tide and drop the wheels off back of the ramp into mud or void.

I do wonder how steep this thing comes off the rails though, combine the angle of the rails and the ramp and it looks like you could easily flood the boat. I’m sure the foam would keep it from sinking unless it was really extreme, but still a mess.
