The first thing that dies in a war is the truth, as the saying goes. Anyone with opposing views could use the comment as a hook to make counterpoints and create a discussion out of it. But to call a comment disrespectfulness simply for not agreeing, specially as the tone of the “offending” message looks pretty moderate, tells quite a lot tbf.
