Hate (not really) to say this but people kinda had it right with the mobs of grab and goes, set up a day for everyone to get their tariff refunds. Money only has value if we let it, I contribute to society wtf do I gotta starve go broke for, anything like right to healthcare?
I don’t think “contributing to society” should be the bar for whether someone has a right to live or not.
We are the only animals on the planet who hoard resources and then block distribution of said resources behind little pieces of paper. We have basically solved scarcity already, and instead of sharing, we are burning the world to the ground for paper.
Alternate plan: do away with people’s need to have money to live by dealing with the broken system that puts them in that position.
