    Jesus Fucking Christ, when they say cruelty is the point, they mean it! Why waste resources and money hiring people to go after immigrants who you’ve already forcefully removed from the country? Also, how can they assume that the deportees are even in their country of origin? Wasn’t Fanta Menace sending immigrants to CECOT or countries that they weren’t even from? Furthermore, how can they assume those same immigrants are even alive?! They gonna go after their families?!

    Genuinely wishing the worst possible outcome for Trump and his Choden Ones if we ever get the government back.

      While cruelty is a point, it is not the only point.

      This story is a great example of fascism in action. The marriage of an authoritarian government and the profit incentive of private companies.

      This is what happens when a capitalist regime dehumanizes people, and treats them as commodities to make profit.

      This is the modern day slave trade. Keeping people in for-profit concentration camps for as long as they can and then charging them for the torture they endured.
