    It really doesn’t matter what you say when you argue with people on the internet. No historical evidence, statistics, political theory, or emotional appeal can change someone’s mind.

    Without getting into US politics, I think this country is going to have to learn how to resist White supremacy & nationalism the hard way. Things have to get worse before they can get better.

      You can plant the seed of doubt though, and sometimes that is enough for at least the smallest of changes. That’s why I enjoy getting e-gangbanged in l/Atheism. 😅

      This is also true in person. Unless the setting is one where everyone involved is intentionally trying to expose themselves to new ideas they will ignore any new information they don’t want to hear.
