    RPCS3 is similarly awkward to read and spell.

    And ncmpcpp, which makes sense as it’s about 2 or 3 different forks from the original so the name got increasingly out of hand.

          It doesn’t exist. Well, PCSX4 doesn’t, RPCS4 was a private project some years ago:

          RPCS4 was a private project being worked on by one of the original developers of RPCS3, DH. Little is known about the project at the time, but we do know that it was expected to run on Unix-likes and can boot PS4 games without graphics

          PCSX4 was just malware/adware or similar if I recall correctly. It came into being long before PS4 emulation reached anything remotely resembling the concept of “playable”.
