    The date at the top of the article disagrees.

    No notice or even a single mention of how it’s over 10 years old in the post body. Duh.

    50% of content in the fediverse is old reposts.

    There is a wide chasm between 6-month-old reposts and nearly 15-years-old reposts.

    In any case, OP was wondering why people disliked how old it was despite its relevance and I answered the question. You don’t have to like the answer. I have no interest in continuing this conversation. Good day.

      It’s not OPs job to fully explain all aspects of content that they are posting. I’m sorry that you think it is.

        This exchange got me curious enough to search, “is it poor etiquette to post a 10 year old article to social media,” and I couldn’t find anything at all about it. I’m my personal opinion, if the information therein is still relevant, post it. Others may disagree with relevance to their personal lives, but they can simply move on, if so.
