  Ctrl+Alt+F3 sends you to TTY3, not a terminal. I’m sure you can make TTY3 grey if you really want to, but I doubt that’s what you did.

Everybody uses Arch btw, can’t quit Vim, <loves/tolerates/hates> systemd, and wants to interject for a moment. You can stop now.
