Fun story: I played DS1 on my last PC and I freaking loved it. It was satisfyingly clunky and just slow enough to really make every hit count.

Then i got my current pc and realized I had been playing at like half the game speed the entire time.

I still had to cheese that one boss with the dogs in the tiny courtyard.
Absolutely understandable and reasonable
To be fair, the console versions also ran at half speed, so you should play those, or cap your fps to 15 like Miyazaki intended
If thats what he intended, and my past experience was basically thats pretty cool
