I have mixed feelings. The story I think was excellent. Possibly one of the best SH stories. This didn’t always translate to amazing gameplay however. The combat for the most part kind of sucked imo. The story really was the best part for me. I thought the puzzles were pretty good.

The worst part of the game for me is

all the forced combat towards the end of the game. It’s not difficult, it’s just annoying. I’m hesitant to play it again anytime soon mostly because of that.

Performance wise, no complaints. I ran the game with an RX 9070 XT and was averaging above 100fps. Of course, older cards may struggle but from what I’ve seen the game is pretty well optimized.

I’m more curious about what other fans thought about the game, I realize the game is pretty divisive. I’ve seen it called the new SH4.

So, those of you who played it, what did you think? I’d probably rate it 6.5/10.
