    I don’t even see how this benefits Russia. Their military hasn’t even been effective in Ukraine. The remaining NATO members have more than enough military to deal with Russia

    I get they’re removing the largest force, but they don’t have the military to capitalize on that. If anything they’re going to end up making the rest of Europe stronger.

      A destabilized US is still an advantage to some wishing to supplant the falling superpower.

      having the west and US all infighting from culture wars, and conservative govt, allows russia to freely invade its neighbors more easily without much resistance.
