The U.S. VP has strong Big Brother energy, but it's the "Why are you hitting yourself? Stop hitting yourself!" kind.

I wouldn’t call it a tragedy, but it was definitely his own making.

I just learned recently that he actually died from the COVID-19 vaccine. That’s what caused his neck to that.

The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.

Yeah I’ve sewn the videos and the woman driving was 100% in the wrong. Saying its the fault of ICE and that she wasn’t doing anything wrong is dental of reality. Just go watch the cops POV

I’ve seen the videos. We’ve all seen the videos. Care to explain why you think that? Because everything I’ve seen seems to indicate everything ICE and the feds have said about it is a lie.

Don’t take the bait. Everyone with more than 6 brain cells knows she was murdered in cold blood that’s why it’s lie after lie to paint her as the criminal and distract. Fuck cops, fuck ICE.

Ice told the driver to get out of the vehicle 3 times. The officer was standing in front of the vehicle and the driver accelerated towards him while some other protester was yelling “drive baby drive”. The protestor was intentionally impeding the ice operation. The officer in fear of his life for being hit by a moving vehicle again used their firearm in self defence and someone tragically lost their life.

Lmao. Not listening to a cop is NOT subject to a death sentence. Go fuck yourself if you believe he acted in self defense. Next day ICE ran over a guy, did he pull out a gun and kill the driver point blank?

The wheels were turned away from the ICE goon and another goon was yelling for her to stay and another for her to move her vehicle. She was waving other vehicles by, not impeding anything. So, at the end of the day she was murdered because the ICE goons had no fucking idea what they were doing or what they were supposed to be doing in the situation other than being oppressive murderous pieces of shit waving guns around.

Way to ignore the evidence of your ears and eyes, you’re such an obedient dog.

A “Showerthought” is a simple term used to describe the thoughts that pop into your head while you’re doing everyday things like taking a shower, driving, or just daydreaming. The most popular seem to be lighthearted clever little truths, hidden in daily life.

Here are some examples to inspire your own showerthoughts:

  • Both “200” and “160” are 2 minutes in microwave math
  • When you’re a kid, you don’t realize you’re also watching your mom and dad grow up.
  • More dreams have been destroyed by alarm clocks than anything else

Rules

  1. All posts must be showerthoughts
  2. The entire showerthought must be in the title
  3. No politics
    • If your topic is in a grey area, please phrase it to emphasize the fascinating aspects, not the dramatic aspects. You can do this by avoiding overly politicized terms such as “capitalism” and “communism”. If you must make comparisons, you can say something is different without saying something is better/worse.
    • A good place for politics is c/politicaldiscussion
  4. Posts must be original/unique
  5. Adhere to Lemmy’s Code of Conduct and the TOS

If you made it this far, showerthoughts is accepting new mods. This community is generally tame so its not a lot of work, but having a few more mods would help reports get addressed a little sooner.

Whats it like to be a mod? Reports just show up as messages in your Lemmy inbox, and if a different mod has already addressed the report, the message goes away and you never worry about it.
