    This reads more like bargaining to me. Also the Winter War comparison might fit surprisingly well, if we ignore the Telegraph’s interpretation.

      It kind of acknowledges reality in the first half where it plainly states that Russia is winning on the ground, that sanctions won’t break Russian economy, and that the winner will dictate terms. But then it has to pour copium on the second part because you still can’t just state the truth without any qualifiers.
