Since Ben‑Gvir assumed his post, the number of personal firearm permits has risen by hundreds of thousands, and he aims to continue doubling that number, Al-Qastal reports that this is a move that effectively amounts to a slow extermination of Palestinians, as these weapons are used in Israeli settlers’ crimes against Palestinian towns and villages.
