Prepared my first batch of cold brew today, (32g ground coffee, 500ml water) and staring at it I can’t help wondering what the difference is between this and leaving a brewed pot of coffee to sit for a day is? Could someone explain to me what makes cold brew special?

    Just wanted to come back here and say that I have been using this recipe for a week now and it’s pretty good! Unfortunately I don’t have a cheese cloth, so I have just been using my french press filter. But still, since I don’t mind the bits that make it through it works for me! The only thing is I may make it a little stronger, but thank you for pointing me in the right direction.
