I wouldn’t put it like this but your pointing out a key problem om current lemmy.
I have had to (sadly) block people/places for the same reason.
Trying to give an objective breakdown of the pattern:
Lemmy spaces are new and don’t have many users.
People try hard to create content for their space because naturally they want it to thrive
An environment forms where the few motivated people generate the majority of one spaces content.
Creative strain on those users generally means the content sometimes is of lower standard.
People who are interested find the space and subscribe because most content is unlikely to end up in all.
Because lemmy is still small if that space has daily posts it may make up a significant portion of all the post in the subscribed view
Taste is subjective and its quite possible you’re don’t like the posts of specific users, which is fine but when every x posts is that same thing you don’t like…
There is actually some real theories, i think kurzgesagt covered or at least mentioned it that makes a mathematical case for us to still be in the very early stage where advanced complex life can possibly form.
Maybe not the first, but one of em.
