Hmmmm. I’ll bite on the “buying weapons from an ally with significant military capabilities 20 years ago wasn’t dumb”, but leave at the "continue to do business blindly because, “both sides” ".

Thank you for your service.
But you provide no references, which mean none exist! My god, maybe this commenter is on to something and satire was invented in 2008 to turn us into sheeple!
(I love a good/shit conspiracy theory and stand equally behind op and this comment)
I haven’t marine biologied for some time. What in Cthulhu’s exhaust pipe is this?
I find frequently switching works well. It’s a bit of effort, but I have a small list of countries that work best with certain websites.
Max-stats 😎
I mean, ethics aside, countries very, very rarely reveal anything about their spy plane activity.
Here’s my low-stakes conspiracy take: If Intel felt it would be profitable to fight back against this, they would have. He forms an optimal scapegoat for their ongoing issues and this allows for the company to restructure without much impedance.
Firing their CEO “normally” may have otherwise meant a further tanking of Intel’s share price, at a time they can I’ll afford it.
You sound like me at uni. If you can, go and try get your exam deferred, take a decisive week break and get back to it at a pace that works better for you.
I have 4-5 realllly dark spots on my transcripts because of my stubbornness. Didn’t help in job searching very much.
Most non-americans I know use a toaster, not a toaster oven. These require quite a bit less space and are significantly quicker than bread & pan method (also lower calorie, because you don’t need to butter or oil the bread before “cooking”).
For those of us who eat toast on the daily, a standard English style toaster is absolutely essential.
You hit the nail on the head:
Don’t get me wrong, I am absolutely anti “AI baked into my operating system and cell phone so that it can monitor me and sell me crap”. If that’s what being Anti AI is…to that I say Amen.
Most cases in consumer ai, it’s data harvesting gone haywire and it’s not being implemented to benefit society.
From what I see, very few people are stupid enough to blanket hate it, but it is overhyped and being used maliciously.
Where is this quote from?
But yeah…, in retrospect the writing was in fact on the wall.
I hold the following opinion and am happy to have it challenged:
This is standard Orban propaganda and can be ignored.
The EU does not hold enough cards to ignore the threat of a 30% tarrif as it currently relies on the US for energy, with the only (immediate term) alternative being Russia.
It is incredibly sad to see the Americans blackmail a long-standing and key global ally. This will take generations to repair.
It is clear the EU was not aligned on how to proceed with these negotiations. Sometimes, aligning the interest of 27 states is difficult.
I think this just shows the lack of cards the EU has to play at this point in time.
May I ask why? I’ve never felt it was really a necessary feature.
I love scam posts. They just make me all warm and fuzzy inside!
And not because of the clearly scammy nature of it all, but mostly because it means that there are sufficient users of Lemmy to make it worthwhile to try and scam 🥰
So, thank you Matrecovery and RaymondBucks079, for letting us all know that the lemmy is infact well and truly alive.
Thanks for pointing this out. It is imperative that people understand the reality of the energy transition and move away from the spotty doomsday or otherwise reporting on the topic.
So the iming of this seems absurdly off. Either they knew and are now being forced to act, or the investigation really took this long and the dude was just chilling on the beach unaware…
