I have an Indian colleague who told me he was threatened with arrest after a traffic stop for having element and conversations installed on his phone as the cop told him those are used by terrorists and he should just use WhatsApp

1·8 months ago@bruhbeans@lemmy.ml there are certainly a lot of bitcoin bois, that can get annoying, but I’ve seen a lot more nazi, facists, terf, and racist content on certain corners of the ActivityPub powered 'verse than I have in the year or so I’ve had a NOSTR account in that part of the 'verse.
4·10 months agoI don’t care where something is made. I do hate that if your company has its advertising budget spent on proclaiming where it is made usually it is because there is nothing good to say about the product itself.

@pete_link@lemmy.ml the DNC can do whatever it damn well pleases. They aren’t Trump, that’s all they need to do right now. To expect anyhting more is too have far too much faith.
